Po raz kolejny 8 sierpnia przez Uniejów przeszła największa grupa pielgrzymów, którzy szli na Jasną Górę. Wśród tegorocznych pątników były między innymi osoby z grup z Chojnic, Grudziądza, Świecia i Torunia. Jak co roku zadbano również o przygotowanie dla pielgrzymów posiłków, które jak podkreślają sami pątnicy, są niezwykłym darem i pomocą dla nich.
Po południu w Uniejowie pojawili się również, jak co roku, pielgrzymujący z Turku i Konina, którzy nocowali w uniejowskiej szkole oraz w domach prywatnych. Łącznie tego dnia przez Uniejów przeszło kilkanaście grup pielgrzymkowych. Mieszkańcy Uniejowa, którzy również w tym roku idą do Częstochowy, przyłączyli się m.in. do grup toruńskiej oraz konińskiej.
